Five Things Friday - Part 6

I've been busy this week getting some things done for my May brides.  And as a result, I've been immersing myself with tons of inspiring weddings.  So in response to that, I thought today's five things should be all about weddings!  Hope you enjoy! Hydrangeas aren't just for bouquets anymore.  I'm loving this hydrangea boutonniere.  Both of my brides will be incorporating jute into their wedding decor as well.  You can't go wrong with the natural look of the wrapped stems.    Pennant food labels.  Amazing.  I think these would work great at a beach wedding with the flags being reminiscent of nautical flags.  And I'd substitute the jar filler shown here for sand. I don't think I'll ever tire of grouped white flowers and jute wrapped mason jars.  Ever. DIY Spring Wreath

If you are a fan of the House of Hydrangeas fan page on Facebook, then you might have seen that I was busy crafting this weekend.  I got the crafting itch on Friday and ran out to Hobby Lobby to pick up supplies for some projects I've been mulling over for awhile.  So Saturday, while Jon was watching one of his DVRed shows that I have no interest in, I started making a mess in the floor the project I'm going to show you today--a Spanish moss spring wreath. Here's a list of the supplies you'll need: Grapevine wreath-$4.99 (I think you can get them cheaper at Walmart) Bag of Spanish moss-$5.99 (I got the 525 cubic in. bag and still had half of it left when I was done so you can always split it with a friend) Miniature bird nest-$3.99 Wooden letter-$.99 Brown pipe cleaner-$.50 (optional) Clear acrylic spray-already owned (optional) Glue gun/glue sticks-already owned Rope-already owned Floral wire-already owned So the total cost of the project was right around $15.00.
