While flipping through my October issue of House Beautiful, I stumbled across a story featuring a beautiful cottage. A cottage whose every room made me say, "I would love that in my home!" Needless to say, the designer's style was right up my alley. Only a few minutes later did I discover that the designer was also a fellow Alabamian, hailing from Birmingham. No wonder we see eye to eye on decor. So without further ado, here are some pictures of Lindsey Bond's beautiful 1950's cottage she's transformed with a modern twist. First off, we have the living room. I love her photo collage with mix matched frames, the clean simple lines and the soft, neutral color palette. Next up is the kitchen. Again, it is so simple and elegant. And the carrera marble is to die for. I will have carrera in my dream kitchen one day. Until then I'll just drool over everyone else's.
