Five Things

{The Carneros Inn} A week from tomorrow, Jon and I will be heading here to relax!  Can't.  Wait. {October in the Big Apple} I'm going back here with a couple of my girlfriends to experience fall in my favorite city! {Living room designed by Sarah Richardson} Her classy style strikes again.  And this time with a color VERY similar to my  mom's bathroom . {Watercolor wedding invitation suite} Sadly, I don't know who created this ensemble.  But it's gorgeous nonetheless. {"Rush" by Liz Longley} I just discovered this talent, and she is amazing.

Mine to Love

The chaos continues here in the Sunshine State.  The unpacking isn't quite complete, everything doesn't have specified place yet, and to top things off, our washing machine went out last night.  So Jon and I went shopping today, and we found a great pair at hhgregg.  I highly recommend them for any appliances or electronics.  We will have our new large capacity LG high efficiency top loader and dryer delivered tomorrow.  One more thing to check off the list! While my house is still in shambles, I think I'll just keep daydreaming of a place like this... And listening to a song like this .  It's been on repeat ever since I heard it.  I've been a fan of Dave Barnes ever since he first started his career, and his music continues to not disappoint.  Give his latest a listen.  I promise you won't be disappointed.

This and That

How about a li'l bit of this and a li'l bit of that on this beautiful Friday?  I found this quote on Pinterest and think it is so true. My Design*Sponge at Home book arrived today, and I'm in love with it! Not only is this book gorgeous on the outside, but it also filled with pages and pages of inspiring designs, DIY tips, floral arranging tutorials, Before and Afters and even a breakdown of "tools every homeowner should have."  Seriously, you need to buy this. I've had this song on repeat ever since it was available on iTunes.  It's called "Boys From the South" by the Pistol Annies, and it's fabulous.  I'm so glad I married a "boy from the South" :) I think Jon and I have the cutest pups in the world.  Look at brother and sister snuggling last night. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
