Stella & Dot Favorites!

Spring is finally here!  These pretty days and warm temps are quite refreshing.  They make me want to shop for a new wardrobe of colorful shorts, cotton tops and of course jewelry!  I'm on a "no clothes shopping" stint right now, though.  If you saw my closet, you'd understand why.  I've decided to remix my wardrobe and use what I have instead of buying new and only wearing previously purchased items a handful of times.   One way for me to easily remix and redress outfits is with accessories, specifically jewelry!  Good jewelry buys last a long time, especially if they're well made and I don't mind justifying a purchase here or there :)  Enter Stella & Dot.  I've purchased a handful of their products before and still wear and love them all.  Here are a few of my current faves for spring! 1.  I have this Starstruck Ring, and it's a great fun piece to throw on with any outfit...and currently on sale for $29.50! 2. ...

Friday Find-Guy and Eva Jewelry

Let's talk about jewelry!  Jewelry is something that is apart of my daily life.  I never leave the house without something on.  I always say that accessories make an outfit, and it's so true.  So when my new Guy and Eva Rianne necklace, came in the mail the other day, you can imagine my excitement.  This necklace is so versatile, I've worn it every day since! Rianne-$21 So you can get a better idea of its size, here's another shot of it on my bff, Lauren, who also has this necklace.  I think it adds the perfect little something, something to any outfit. If you've never heard of Guy and Eva jewelry, let me tell you all about it.  Guy and Eva started its life as a retail brand with their collection being sold in boutiques and various fashion specialty stores.  But lucky for us, it's now being sold through catalogs, home parties and online.  What's quickly become synonymous with celebrities like Ashley Green, Taylor Swift and Paris Hilton, i...

Organization-Kitchen and Jewelry

I got a lot of my organizational "to do's" marked off of my list today.  I think I'm a pretty organized person in the general sense, but when I got a glimpse into Martha Stewart's orderly kitchen drawers, I started thinking about all of the little drawers of chaos in my home.  And I knew I had some work to do. Naturally, I started in the kitchen. I'm somewhat of a sucker for dish towels.  Not the tacky seasonal kind but the nice waffle weave kind.  Up until today, they were haphazardly placed in two different drawers in the kitchen, because they wouldn't fit into just one...or so I thought.  Now, they are all neatly folded along the back of ONE drawer.  This, in turn, freed up some new space to put my oven mits and allowed for much easier access to my cutting boards and strainer, which I use all of the time. I forgot to take a before picture, but just imagine a little insanity and things shoved tightly into the drawer to get it to close.  I organ...
