Thankful

I enjoyed a great mini vacay home for Thanksgiving.  It was filled with lots of love, celebrations (my grandparent's 70th wedding anniversary being the biggest) and laughter....and for that, I'm thankful. We reminisced about old times... (I'm on the right :)) Gathered at the table to enjoy some delicious food... Did a little crafting for Cohen's upcoming 1st birthday party... Can you tell the theme centers around a giraffe? Cheered the Tide on to victory... And enjoyed lots of time with this little guy who was more than amused with my iphone camera... :) I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was just as beautiful and refreshing as my own.

Thankgiving Decor

It seems everyone is in Christmas mode a little early this year.  But if you're one of the few that is still embracing fall and Thanksgiving, here are a few decorating ideas to make your Thanksgiving gathering even more beautiful. Personalized Pumpkin Place Setting.  Say that three times fast.  Painted mini pumpkins make the perfect place "cards" for your guests. Florals and produce centerpiece. Use a head of lettuce or cabbage instead of vases to hold floral arrangements.   Home Decor .  A simple tablescape makes a warm greeting for your guests.    Mantle Decor.  Nothing says fall like feathers and foliage. Cinnamon Wreath . Mmmm I love the smell of cinnamon.  It's a little treat for my nose everytime I pass one of those cinnamon brooms in the grocery store.  I'm not a big fan of using brooms for decor though, so this is a great solution.  Plus you could use this wreath on into the Christmas season.  Images via Sou...
