DIY Mason Jar Garden Stake

I had a wonderful trip to Virginia last week and will be posting on that soon.  But today, the focus is on mason jars.   I absolutely LOVE mason jars.  So there will be quite a few entries coming up on various ways to use them.  We'll start with this garden stake idea.  This is a really inexpensive project that will surely be a conversation piece at your next outdoor gathering. via A Subtle Revelry The list of supplies is minimal and very inexpensive. Here's the basic gist.  First, use a knife to make the bottom of the branch pointed so it will easily go into the ground.  Next, take a string of twine and wrap it once around the branch near the top where you want the jar to be.  Then, place the jar next to the branch and twine and wrap the twine around the jar a few times as well.  Tie it off with a knot to secure it in place.  Repeat for the bottom section of the twine.  Add water and flowers.  If you'd like more instr...
