Football Fun and Sewing Lessons

Jon and I have had a great holiday weekend. We spent Friday night in Tuscaloosa visiting old friends (thanks for the hospitality Raven and Preston!), and went to the opening Bama game on Saturday. It was great to be back at my alma mater, and even my Auburn fan husband had a good time :)  I look forward to attending more games this year since we're so much closer to T-Town!  Tailgating with the girls :) Me and Bekah before the game The boys taking the field for the first time since the devastating tornado on April 27th Aside from cheering on the Tide, I've also been busy learning how to sew!  My mom gave me my first lesson yesterday, and since then, I've churned out three burp clothes. I'm so proud of my finished products :) Maybe now I can start to make my own pillows and curtains.  Watch out Martha! Speaking of babies, I haven't shown you guys a baby bump picture of Mer in a while.  Here's her 25-week picture from last week.  Cohen's arrival da...

Sleep Tight and Roll Tide

I have to share with you one of the wedding presents we recently received.  They are so perfect for us and so incredibly cute and unique! For those who don't know, this means "Will you go to bed with me?"in French.  Yes, I will every night. :) One of my favorite things about being married is that I get to snuggle up to Jon every night.   I love that these are white (I love white bedding!).  I love that the writing is in French (Jon's major).  I love the creamy brown writing (hard to tell in the pic) and the contrast of cursive and simple serif font.  Overall, I just love them, and think they'll be a great addition to our bed! On another note, in less than one week college football begins!  I can't wait! Oh how I miss this view... I can't wait for the Tide to roll!
