White rooms are all the rage these days, and I for one, am a huge fan. Many people use white on their kitchen cabinets or for their bathroom tiles, but wouldn't even think of painting anything with it except molding and especially not their walls. However, while it might seem like an empty color, white can actually really brighten and transform a space. By giving your walls a coat of white paint, you're essentially making a blank canvas in your room, which will highlight the rest of the elements and bring a modern crispness to your space.
I'm heading to Alabama for a week tomorrow, and while I'm there I'll be helping my friend get settled into her new home and will hopefully be tackling a paint project or two at my mom's house. I'd love to create a white space somewhere in her home. My mom already has a bathroom full of white tile, and I think putting white on the walls (which are currently crimson) would really bring life back to the space. I'll keep you posted :)
